Homemade Button

Flirtatious Easter Basket

I wanted to cover this plain little basket with some SU! material and found that it was quite easy...I put the basket on the material, pulled and bunched it up like I was going to wrap it and judged about 2" extra and cut it. Then I trimmed up nice, folded it over about an 1 1/2", sewed all around and left about a 2" gap, and put some elastic in it for the ruffle. The handle is a 2" strip of material doubled the length of what I wanted the handle to be and sewn up with a pipe cleaner in it. Then I bunched and twisted the material around the pipe cleaner to give it that look, I ended up hot gluing it to the basket. Also, hot glued on some buttons. Tomorrow I'll show how I made the big button with brad...gotta finish Easter dinner and head out. I wish everybody a wonderful and happy Easter!

Flirtatious Flower Card

I love the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die. It's perfect for the material that SU! has for us.The flower strip is cut from Flirtatious and is about 16" long and attached to a 1 3/4" circle cut out of our sticky sheets. I adhered one side to a piece of chip board the same size. All you have to do is start winding the trim starting on the outside of the circle and go round and round until you get to the middle. If you have extra trim left just cut it off or if you have room for more trim cut some more. Then put a beautiful Large Pearl (page 26 in the Occasions Mini) in the middle or whatever bling you like. There's also a strip of Attic Boutique DS paper (page 23 Occasions Mini) and I spritzed with Soft Suede.

This detail looks so impressive and is so easy to make! The really cool thing is you can make your flower as big or small as you want.

Blossom Builder Card

I used the awesome Blossom Builder kit on page 18 of the Occasions Mini. This kit comes with beautiful, bright flower self-adehive die-cuts AND pretty, pretty pink rhinestone! This card used the Blossom punch, polkao-dot embossing folder.

Look at all of the dimension, just like a garden!

L is for Love Designer Cuts Card

I love the laser-cut designs on the these cards in the Occasions mini catalog page 9.

Designer Cuts Heart Card

This is the Designer Cuts Heart card with the pretty heart cut out with a heart framelit die which I used on the card below. I think it looks a little countryish...I also used the P.S. I love you stamp set on page 8 of the Occasions mini.

Designer Cuts Heart Card

This is a really girlie card that I made and was quite impressed that I was the one that came up with it. It uses the beautiful heart from the Designer Cuts cards and envelope sets in the Occasions Mini 201 on page 9.

Details Designer Cuts Heart Card

I used the Hearts Framelits Die to cut the pretty heart out and embossed it with pewter embossing powder ( BEAUTIFUL!!! ). Then I snailed a piece of cs underneath it and used snail to attach the Pleated Satin Ribbon (which I love!)around the heart and attached to card with dimensionals half on ribbon and heart.
